Ratnakar was started in the year 2000 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat with an idea to create a brand in imitation jewellery, which showcases the magnificence of gold jewellery. Our founder Ratna Shah has experience of 10 years in real jewellery industry at “Ratnakar Palace”- a 100year old family organisation at Vadodara, Gujarat.

To enhance the customer experience our jewellery showroom was transformed into a “Designer Jewellery Studio” with innovative and modern designs.

By god’s grace and with support from our valued customers, Ratnakar which started as a small yet successful showroom in Ahmedabad, employing just 3 craftsmen, now has progressed rapidly employing more than 200 craftsmen around India, strengthened by a cohesive teamwork of 20 members in their production, administration and sales department across India. Currently Ratnakar Group has two studio showrooms in Ahmedabad. They are:

1. Ratnakar, the art of jewellery – Situated at Mansi Circle, Ahmedabad.

2. Studio R by Ratnakar – Situated at Prahalad Nagar, Ahmedabad.
