He was a senior Partner in one of the largest firm of Chartered Accountants in India for 30 years and was considered as an authority on Direct Taxes Hindu Law. He was a Member of Central Council of ICAI for three consecutive terms 1964 – 1973). Thereafter he practised for 35 years in Gujarat High Court as an Advocate.
